Post-Surgical Headache

Post-surgical headache following brain surgery can occur in some patients. The symptoms sometimes are similar to post-traumatic headache. Some patients, however, do not experience headache following brain surgery.

Neck positioning during surgery can play a role in the post-surgical recovery. When the neck is subjected to unusual or long periods of unnatural positioning, head pain can result.
