Last week the National Headache Foundation team and many of the advocates from the migraine and headache community took part in an important annual advocacy event called Headache on the Hill. If you were not able to participate, there is still an opportunity for you to advocate on the issues.

The Alliance for Headache Disorders Advocacy needs your help to send emails requesting congressional support on the following two funding requests:

1. Support $50 million of new funding for migraine and headache disorders research from the National Institutes of Health (NIH)

2. Support $25 million of funding to create 14 new Veterans Administration Headache Centers of Excellence (HCoE), providing more equitable access to specialty care for our veterans.

Click the button below for instructions and a pre-written email you can send to your members of Congress. You are welcome to add 1-2 brief sentences to the emails. We need you to act quickly to maintain our momentum. We have until April 9th to reach the members of Congress.

Thank you for taking this important action to help pass policies that benefit the headache disease community.
