Glenn Evan Waldman, 65 years old, of Lynbrook, New York, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 8, 2023. Glenn was born on November 22, 1957, to Harriett and Alan Waldman in Brooklyn, New York. After Glenn graduated from Oceanside High School in 1975, he went on to study Biology at State University of New York at Albany. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in biology in 1979, he attended Albany Medical College where he received his medical degree in 1983. He completed specialty training in neurology at Mount Sinai Hospital in 1987, during which he was Chief Resident. After completing training, Glenn practiced neurology in a variety of private practices in New York City, since 2012 he has been associated with ProHEALTH Care Associates.
In 1995, Glenn married Lauren Plate in New York. Glenn and Lauren went on to have 3 children, Lindsay, Allison, and Kira. Glenn was predeceased by his father, Alan Waldman, and his mother, Harriett Waldman. He is survived by the mother of their children Lauren and Lindsay, Allison, and Kira. Glenn was a loving son and brother, a devoted father, a skilled physician, and a consummate professional. His passing leaves a hole in the lives of his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Glenn’s name to the National Headache Foundation.
