Answer: Cold laser therapy has never been convincingly proven to be effective for the treatment of any condition. Cold laser, as the name suggests, does not give off any heat. It is hard to imagine how shining a light, even if it is a laser, on the skin will produce any effect. Some people may feel that cold laser is very helpful, but the benefit is most likely due to an interaction with a caring healthcare provider.
