I began having migraines at age 10. It’s unusual for children to complain of headaches. As I got older and discovered that there were more migraine sufferers in my gene pool; I attributed it to heredity and hormones. I saw my first neurologist when I was in my teens. Then I hoped it would pass in college. Then after college. Then after having children. Then after menopause. I’ll be sixty this year. I have episodic migraines. They just come on, BOOM!
