I started out with migraines and tension headaches from my teenage years. I am currently 33 years old and have seen so many pain management specialist and neurologist. I have done all the medication and I still get partial Botox for my pain.
The worst part of my migraines the last two years have been my sensitive eyes. I can’t have any overhead lighting, driving in the morning with the sun is very hard, driving at sunset is even harder, and any fluorescent lighting is a huge trigger.
I have found that it’s not just one thing that’s going to help my situation it’s going to be a combination of things. My newest tool in my talk it is AxonOptics migraine glasses. I have the ones for daytime and I can honestly say they significantly reduce my eye pain and tension in my head. They have a lot of different styles and they are super lightweight and don’t bother me wearing them all day.
I have tried others that were just too orange looking but these look subtle and stylish. I have other tools in my tool kit for pain such as medication but when I find something that is natural and actually helps it gets me very excited. I throw on my glasses every day and the longer I wear them the better I feel.
