Had a daily chronic headache with migraine for 17 years. Went through all the drugs available, went through all the treatments my neurologist suggested and nothing worked. Last year, it went away and now, I am getting headaches again.
I never thought Harry Potter and I would share a headache, but my sudden onset Nummular Headache brought just that.
Having this invisible debilitating disease
called migraines has made me become week and strong all in one.
In the fall of 2006 the NHF’s Headache Education and Support Group facilitators invited their attendees to submit headache-related poetry. Because interest in this project grew, it was opened up to all who visit the NHF’s web site, as well as those who read NHF HeadLines.
The NHF received a variety of headache-related submissions. We have selected poems, limericks and verse that are relatable to those who live with this disease.
