I have suffered from migraines for a long time. The first one I had was when I was five-years old. I used to have headaches daily and sometimes these escalated into migraines about once a month. My migraines are disabling as many others may find. My head hurts so much that I find myself struggling to crawl around on the floor, my eyes are ultra-sensitive to lights, and I have a constant feeling of nausea, along with vomiting. It hurts even to sleep. The pressure on my head when I lie horizontally makes me feel like my head is going to erupt!
However, I also used to suffer from Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). For this I went to a nutrition specialist. I underwent a series of non-invasive examinations and I was told that I was severely intolerant to lactose, egg, and wheat. I couldn’t believe it, as cheese and mayonnaise were part of my daily diet; I had both with everything. I managed to cut those items out of my diet, which was a struggle! To change your diet completely is a bit like giving up cigarettes, but from then on my headaches subsided and my migraines ceased!!
As well as resolving my IBS issues, I had been taking Migralieve for nearly as long as it has been available, but what I should have done first was look at my diet.
I am recommending to you readers that it is worth a try! I was 30-years old before I found out why I suffered from the headaches – I had just accepted them as part of my life. I occasionally still have a migraine attack, but maybe once a year, and nothing in comparison to what I experienced prior to changing my diet. If you have headaches, you may want to look at your diet, and it could be the answer!
