FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: August 14, 2026

CHICAGO, IL – The National Headache Foundation (NHF) announces that Lisa Vinci, MBA, has stepped down from its Board of Directors after accepting a new role within the headache and migraine community.

Vinci was elected to the NHF Board of Directors in April 2026. After recently being offered a position with a pharmaceutical organization in the headache and migraine space, Vinci and NHF mutually agreed that stepping down from the Board was the best path forward to avoid any potential conflict of interest and maintain the independence of NHF’s Board of Directors.

“While we’re disappointed her time on our Board was brief, we’re thrilled she’ll continue making a meaningful impact in the headache and migraine community,” said Katy Oakley, CEO & Executive Director of NHF.

NHF thanks Vinci for her willingness to serve and wishes her continued success.
