Chicago, Ill. (Nov. 1, 2023) – The National Headache Foundation (NHF) is hosting a 4:00-8:00 p.m. drop-in “Cultivating Connections in Chicago” networking event at the University Club at 76 East Monroe Street on Saturday, Nov. 11. The event is free, and refreshments and light appetizers will be provided.

Susan Stone, CEO and Executive Director, is inviting the media, community leaders and the public to attend and meet board members and staff of NHF, who are all committed to addressing the pain and suffering from headache disorders and migraine disease experienced by one in four adult Americans.

“Our Community Event is being held on Veterans Day to recognize the millions of veterans, service members, and civilians who are disproportionately affected by headache and migraine,” said Stone. “You or someone you love may be one of them. To respond to the military community’s needs, NHF is moving into the next phase of our signature program – Operation Brainstorm™ – expanding from the initial listen and learn phase to the phase 2 development and launch of a Migraine Care Hub that will support timely access to care and treatment.”
