Patient Assistance Programs (PAPs) are programs offered to help patients needing financial assistance to purchase necessary medications and devices. Migraine treatment is provided at no cost or at a very low cost for qualifying individuals.
Savings cards offer a way to reduce the cost of prescription medications and devices, especially for those with commercial insurance. Many pharmaceutical companies provide savings programs or co-pay cards to eligible patients, allowing them to access migraine and headache treatments at reduced or zero out-of-pocket costs. Note that restrictions apply, and these offers are often unavailable to patients with federally funded healthcare. Explore available options and check each program’s terms for eligibility.
Note: Be sure to review the terms and conditions for each individual company on their website. Usually patients enrolled in any state or federally funded healthcare program, including but not limited to, Medicare, Medigap, Medicaid, VA, DOD, TRICARE, Puerto Rico Government Health Insurance Plan, Medicare-eligible patients enrolled in an employer-sponsored health plan or prescription drug benefit program for retirees, are NOT eligible for the Program.
